either i was too blind or that fake-joint-group got added after i posted this request here.
and i dont think its possible for a regular user to add parent/sub groups at all, thats why i posted here.

it is if it was you who added the subgroup. there's a small link at the bottom left somewhere that says add parent groups or something like that

my point was, i dont see any way for a regular user to add a subgroup at all, and the "To add or remove a sub or parent group, please use the DB Change Request forum." seems to indicate i was not just too blind to find it.

the way you go about adding a subgroup is:

1. you add a group the regular way
2. then you add parent groups to that group

this is possible for you if it was you who added the group. this does not seem to be the case, and that means you're stuck with using this DB change requests forum. I suppose someone should make a note of this in the wiki -_-; I have a feeling it's going to be me
