any genre requests are low priority at best... use categories ffs.

In the list with info about anime, there's also category displayed. Next to category there's a link called show. Click on it and a new screen pops up. There you can add new categories.

i did it and added shoujo ai but it still doesn't apear on "genre" but only in the categories and you must click "show" to see it,
so what's the point..? (why must it be so hidden...?)

categories aren't shown under genre, because Categories != Genre

genre is the oldass shit system we used before. it's still in as the new system is still in beta phase and most anime don't have categories yet.

why must it be so hidden...?
