I am registering just to voice my concern on this comment option that exists for every fansub (this happens in the comments section for every fansub group, involving the anime they sub).
I think this option has been manipulate as if it was a forum, filled unwanted comments such inaccurate information’s. Sometimes it’s fine if there are some fansub members informing about their encodings but when it to the extend it become flaming (troll) this could cause inconvenience to other viewers. In my opinion, comments should be more on fansub’s craft (works) like the video quality and etc. instead of replying to others comments with redundant “info”. Other irritating comments are such as blaming the releases slow and incorrect codec’s and at last realize that its their bad instead……
I think comments should be neutral instead so it would be fair to viewers (newbie) who really just starting to watch anime. Maybe this would be too much to request but anidb staff could just try to trim unwanted comments...
