Current state of stuff in anidb is not always 'how stuff should be done' - mods just have a policy of not making changes lightly, and watching the stuff in question first too. 
As a gneral trend though, all the sunrise recap ovas/movies are grouped, but separate from their parent series. Master Keaton should be separate because there's a world of difference between one dvd-only special (see the baka's thread) and *15* episodes, compare to some of the m.o.e. 'ova' entries, which are basically an extension of the extra-ep-on-dvd-to-drive-sales idea. And yeah, Love Hina looks like it should be 24 eps and a special.
Anyway, current setup is not completely uniform, not 'the best and only way' of doing stuff, but does have some reasoning behind most of it. Big suggestions welcome.
