In this page, Shinkai Makoto is listed only as director, while in his other work (such as http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?s ... me&aid=104), he is listed as director AND company, which is correct since this was one-man production. So, he should be added as company:

I question these one man production ravings, was a mistake to add him. If there's one animator who deserves to be in our company list, it's not Makato. So, he's got a few 30 sec things that he probably did do all by his ownsome, but as a contribution to animation, it's not really worth indexing.
