AniDB

I get this error message when i try to run AOM. this is a weird problem.
Whats wrong here?
Oh i'm using the version thats posted on the wiki right now.

here's more:

AppName: aom.exe AppVer: 0.5.6.244 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 Offset: 00012a5b

I tried to use it in vista 64bit and it does the same thing (odd). So i take ownership of the files and its still broken. Then i copy out and i don't have access to kowai folder which is at 0 bytes to me (odd part2).
I tell ya this is the strangest thing i've ever seen.

Now i can go into the kowai folder but i can't copy out those files ???

I couldn't delete it either even in vista.
So what i did was go back into windows xp
and then used:

it probably would have fixed it fully but i don't know why that wouldn't work in vista. But now its deleted and all is good... so far.
