[AOM 0.5.5.240] "Remove selected" is very slow

I'll explain you what happened:
1) I renamed a directory
2) I found out that AOM had the old directory name in its data
3) I didn't find any feature at all to move/refresh the filelist within AOM
4) I decided to rehash the renamed directory
5) All files were marked with orange color
6) I decided to select the old directory name within AOM and hit "Remove selected"
7) The program completly freezed for about 10 minutes.
I do not understand why it is soooo slow to remove some files from a simple list.
