[AOM 0.5.1.219] Hashing Problem

Post by egg »

AOM apparently has a problem hashing Hajime no Ippo 32 [Inf]. I have used other files to verify the hash is:
f2bfa609dc920432c310809fbea9cea0 but AOM thinks that it is f2c5f734d4ef8c7c87f4f7b54fc57e6e

Here are some lines from the log file pertaining to this file:
[11/22/2004 11:46:25 AM] - The file "c:\anime\Fighting Spirit (Hajime no Ippo)\Hajime_no_Ippo_-_32_-_Throw_Your_Right_!_-_[Inf](19420723)[AniDB].avi" is not present in AniDB, ignoring!

My aom hashes it to f2bfa609dc920432c310809fbea9cea0, are you using the latest release?

Most likelly you're trying to hash the file from cd, which isn't recommended with aom.
Anyway... Copy the file, preferrably to another hdd, and then hash it again (with multiple tools if needed).

If the error persists then please state what other tool you are using to verify the hash. I'd use emule to verify it in this case as that's how aom hashes it. (there are tools out there which hashes SOME files wrong)

8O 8 minutes!!! I will assume you had the file already and not go crazy thinking you can download a file in 8 minutes....

How could I not be? You routinely disabled older versions....

Anyway, after renaming may kawai folder, and moving the file to another drive and rehashing it worked properly. I will play with it to see if I can get it to behave and not have to rehash everything...
