0.5.1.219 [MISSING FEATURE]

Post by MaJutsu »

I added Shuro no toki (AOI) to mylist, but AoM calculated the crc32 (and because of that the edk2k) wrong.
I am abolute sure that the file isn't corruptet because its en BT loaded file. (and it is defentetly complete)
Another Hint to that the error is in AoM is that when i add my Anime folder he whants to add it again (and it is in the known files)
Edit:
in mylist the file is listet

BT doesn't make it 100% certain that the file actually written to disk is correct (there can be physical media errors) but any report about aom hashing wrong is serious.

Can you doublecheck the file with HashCalc? Downloadable here: http://www.slavasoft.com/zip/hashcalc.zip

Also notice that the crc32, ed2k, sha1, md5 are all independent in AOM, if one is wrong it doesn't necessarily mean another is wrong.

If you still have problems please send me a PM with a link to the torrent.

You're not trying to hash from a cdrom/dvd right? (downloading the file myself atm)

Ok, the file hashes correctly in my AOM meaning either.
1) You have correctable media errors, I doubt this one. (typical cd media issue, no idea how to fix)
2) The file was hashed before it was completelly downloaded and aom wont correctly rehash it, aka a bug.

Could you please try to move the file to another location on your hdd and rehash it?
