[AOM 0.4.4.192] Episode counting [FIXED/NOBUG]

Post by Rar »

Minor problem - AOM sometimes has different number of total episodes to AniDB. Eg:
Neon Genesis Evangelion 26/27 listed (due to there being a S0 file?)
Mobile Suit Gundam - The Movie Trilogy 3/9 listed (9 episode entries for diferent versions, but only 3 'parts')
Other films have the same problem - seem to be counting the total number of 'episodes' listed rather than looking at the 'parts' entry.

Bug, fixed in dev. Didn't known S0 was allowed.

Movies don't have "episodes".
Actually, there are 4 entries in AniDB with multiple episode movies.

Flagged wrong, it's an OVA.

Problem child.

Movie? Doubt it.

Incorrectly flagged. It's 1 ep.

Regarding Gundam: There is a specified guidelines for how movies should be set up and that format assumes that movies only have 1 part. A three episode movie = 3 different movies.
Regardin all other movies: The current behaviour is "correct" and designed for the day when there are shadow files etc, some things don't make it into the client simply because I might have to rewrite them whenever Exp has a big burst of creativity. ;)

Don't think 'S0' is allowed as an episode, but it's good to be ready all the same. Take your point on not wanting code anything to big on the movie front when it's due and exp shake up anyway - but it seems we have a case for quite a few creqs here though.
