Bug? Adding a top level directory [FIXED]

Post by brd529 »

I found that when you add a drive (lets say j:\) to the known files with the "add directory" button, the hashing thread will crash, corrupting the entire local database and making the prog crash on the next start at the "loading local files" stage. This does not happen when you add the files in that directory one by one.

The client version is 163. 160 seems to be banned anyway, is that true? That client is rejected even if you start it from scratch with an empty local database.

Yes, we disabled the 160 version because of a hashing bug.

I can reproduce it and will fix before next release.
