Light blue HTML template thread [Bugs|Features|Support]

Post by DonGato »

The Light blue HTML template for the AniDB export feature is being updated constantly and so I have some room for updates and fixes requests. I'm using all the information available at the moment (or all that is useful IMO). The template is feature complete, meaning that there are no other planed features to be added for now or until a new SDK is released, so you can make new suggestions. ;)

Any support request or bug report should be added here.

Example (built with SDK)
Real export for DonGato

The template use images, CSS, JavaScript, Cookies and latest HTML technologies to have a nice feature rich page usable in most known browsers.

Some of the features are:
  • Anime list with filters, selectable number of entries and selectable anime title type (Romanji, Kanji, English). This list is also searchable by anime name.
  • One page navigation (Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla based browsers only).
  • Show/Hide files for all Episodes.
  • Show/Hide files for a single Episode (activated by clicking in the + sign).
  • Full use of images for a clean look. Hovering over images bring the text value or other data associated to the image. Some images are clickable but Mozilla doesn't support the cursor style so be aware of this.
  • Generation of a customized ed2k link with support for CRC, codecs and more. There is also an option to replace spaces by dots or underscores.
  • If your browser is Internet Explorer or Mozilla clicking over the ed2k link will copy the data to the clipboard instead of executing the link (customizable).
  • Remember settings between sessions if cookies are enabled.
  • Runtime switchable styles. You can make yours by changing the included CSS files with a tool like TopStyle Lite.

Your header :

User: test
Created: 08.07.03
Animes in list: 15
Episodes in list: 71
Files in list: 72
Size: 14.221.110.425 (13 GB)

did not update with your updated list... maybe there's a bug in your template or you changed the data manually! :?

Only One Request

Post by chriv »

I have only one request for the new and improved "light-blue" template.

I really have a need for the "Storage" field.

I use this to track the Volume Name of the CD/DVD-R that I burned my anime to.

I can REALLY make use of this feature.

Currently, the only way I can see this info is by logging into anidb online.

I love the template, thanks for all the hard work!!! :D

Ok. Will add it soon but as a tooltip when hovering over an image. Is this ok?

Source information (something like notes) and Anime Planet recommendations were added. You should wait for 1.4 to be up or yo can see the changes on the test link.

Need for "Storage" field.

This would be great. My need for the "Storage" field in this export template is very real. Without it, I have no way of knowing what anime is on what disc.

Thanks for the help!!!

Well, this is already in long ago. Let me know if it doesn't work in current published code.

Storage field (again)

Post by chriv »

I've been downloading exports in "html-lightblue" format, and I cannot find the "storage" field anywhere.
Well, this is already in long ago. Let me know if it doesn't work in current published code.
You can see it in use at http://chuckrenner.com/myanime. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or I can't see the forest for the trees.

The "source" field is there.

And I can see "On CD" as a tooltip when I hove over a CD icon (the "state" field). I thought this is where the tooltip would be for the "Storage" field.

But I cannot see the name of the disc that I have put my anime on (which is what I use the "Storage" field for).

Am I missing something? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks so much for your help.

Well, in your example I can't find a file that has the 'data_file_source' value used. Could it be that you were talking about 'data_file_other' instead?

Take a look at this example (the Fake file in completes). There is a 'page' icon and if you hover you will see the data attached to the 'data_file_source' value.

Maybe the problem here is how to get to the info.. To see the 'page' icon DonGato's talking about, you need to first click the anime, and then click the "show/hide"-thing. Then you will see the 'page'-icon.. Where the allegded info is supposed to be.. I don't really know if this is the problem.. Just clarifying things a bit. 8O

You don't know how much I appreciate your help on this.

Thank you for your rapid response. The field that shows up on the tooltip for the 'page' icon for the fake file is what I have been referening to as the "source" field.

That is not the field I am looking for. I have been looking for the "storage" field, not the "source" field.

When you add a file or files to the anidb using the ed2k dump, you can specify wether they are "watched" or "unwatched", their "state" (the media type), their "source" (irc, bittorrent, ed2k, etc.), and their "storage" (usually a hard drive name, a folder name, a CD Volume Name, etc.)

I don't know what the equivalent field for "storage" is in EXP's export API. It might just be "data_file_other". I really do not know.

Thanks again, and I look forward to your reply!

Ok. Will be fixed for 1.5.
I mistaken the field used because exp told me some people used source for where they store the files. :P
