check the page of an anime for which new files have been added (pic any from the latest files page). You'll see that eexclamation mark icon which was posted by yidaki.
I don't think it's bad but i guess it can still be improved as it doesn't really provide any association with new, then again, maybe it does. no idea
btw. we might need new icons for the not yet voted and not yet reviewed notifications in mylist too.
although as it looks now it will rather be a not yet voted and an already reviewed pic.
For the not-voted icon or whatever, one of these might look nice. They're all very alike but with minor differences. Since I couldn't decide which I like best, I leave it up to you.
For the new files icon, I came up with this one... in the second image, the star is one pixel moved. Dunno if the difference is sooo important, tho. The last two come with an unstained star and a pure-white paper with a cute edge.
Hmm, doesn't that rather look like a search icon or something? When clicking that icon I intuitively expect to see more detailed information about whatever it appears close to.
another thing, as you all noted the forum theme has changed due to an upgrade to the latest phpbb version.
we need a new logo for the upper right now too
hm, just remembered that a little favicon for this forum might be a good idea. it should not be exactly the same as the one for anidb though.
(/me does only see the favicons in the opera window bar as /me always has way too many pages open )
