AniDB UDP API Specs

Post by exp »

Well,

there is a complete AniDB API (TCP and UDP based) which can be used to write native clients which access and update the AniDB Database directly.
the API Specs for the tcp api are not available to the public ATM.
however if you're interested in writing a full client drop me a line.

the UDP API is public, the specs can be found here:
http://www.anidb.net/wiki/index.php?tit ... Definition

the related forum threads are:
http://www.anidb.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4466
http://www.anidb.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2328

Remember to register your client under:
http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=client

And add a section for it in the wiki:
http://www.anidb.net/wiki/index.php?title=UDP_Clients
