I always wanted to know what is this anime, too. Seen them in an AMV, they looked great. Now I see ia has full stock of awards, looks like worth watching=)

wow, i can't believe someone didn't recognize haruhi, now i've heard it all. Hell, at anime Expo this year one of the main events was dedicated to Haruhi, the best AMV (worst AMV contest ever since it was basically cancelled due to the idiot losing his laptop) went to a Haruhi AMV that I had already seen and absolutely loved (skittles), I have the first 3 dvds, WATCH THE ANIME, LEARN THE DANCE, and WATCH THE AMVs, AND BUY THE DVDs, ,it is worth it.
