What's the name of this space anime?

I recently switched computers and got rid of my old one so I lost the name of a series I really liked.
It started out with two guys climbing a mountain together and then deciding the needed bigger challenges. They then proceed to becoming astronauts and work in space, that's about as far as I watched.
Anyone have a clue what the name is?
