Does anybody know if and when the English subtitles for this highly acclaimed anime might be available?

It seems odd that such a highly anticipated movie remains untranslated.

been wondering the same; was wondering too when Gits:SSS came out, only for a few weeks now, there's 'real' releases available (i think some DVD release happened)(a year later )

i don't think you can expect a satisfying reply on this board though, might want to try the boards of groups which would be likely to translate that movie
