The past couple times i found suprisingly good anime, by looking at animation studios that made anime that i liked.
Such as Gankutsuoh, TV Asahi did the (i'm guessing art) work, very experimental and partly the most beautiful thing i ever saw. I saw that it also did the work for loveless, speed grapher, princess princess- all of which are not bad (at least from art point of view)

Well, i was wondering if anybody has a havorite animation studio. or a favorite fan subber.

I have a couple of favorite studios:
Studio 4°C
GAINAX (mostly the old stuff before Shinseiki Evangelion, and recently Gurren-Lagann has been very good as well)
Kyoto Animation (the non-Key stuff like FMP! and Haruhi)
Production I.G
