Beck, anime about music.

Hi,

Does anybody know some anime like Beck? Filled with music, rock spirit, etc. I don't think that somethig as good as Beck exists, but first anime was in 1959, so there must be something like it.

I've watched some eps of Beck, but it wasn't my thing at all. But I've watched an other crazy music anime: Black Heaven
It has really good music, but the story is a bit crazy.

You could try Nana. Or Gravitation, but that one includes homosexual themes (I think, only saw clips, never the whole series).

Thanks, I saw Black Heaven opening and it is very interesting I think.
lamer_de, does Nana include scenes of guitar playing? I've read about it on AniDB, may be it is what i'm seeking, 10x.

nana is the story of two young women that come to Tokyo to seek for thei dreams. One of them is a member in a rock band and plays the guitar. It's not exactly like Beck, because tghat one is even heavier focused on the music playing aspect, but nana's pretty good imho.
