what anime do you recommend

a friend who has just beginned to watch anime asked of me to get him anime, i'm an all around anime watcher, and he's looking for anime like trigun. Any anime you would recommend for him ?

Cowboy Bebop, Get Backers and Gun x Sword would be good starters.

Anime like Trigun. And apostrophes are not used for plurals, don't do that.
