Looking for sth like Rah or Eva

Post by Tharivol »

Just like it is in thread subject. I watched both RahXephon and Evangelion. I enjoyed them very much. And I would like to know, if there is some third - or maybe even fouth? damn, I'm always such an opthymistic ;) - anime with mechas, entertaining storyline and many cultural, historical and religious elements.

Thx in addition.

Vision of Escaflowne and Soukyuu no Fafner should be watched then ;).

Okay, that's a lie. It does have boob-rockets though...

If you want blatent Eva+RahX ripoff, look no further than Soukyuu no Fafner. It's entertaining but certainly not "good" in the way of either of the series it copied from.

I also recommend Infinite Ryvius. I think you might enjoy the social references and the way it inflicts the characters difficulty in finding their way in life.

Another one I like (for one reason because it dragged me into animes) is Argento Soma.

If you want to try someting more hilarious I can heartily recommend Vandread (especially 2nd Stage). :D
