Hi,

I just registered for AnimeDB and the confirmation email stated that I was to immediately change my password after the first login. However, after logging in with the proper username and given password, I clicked on profile and it brought me to an error page that stated login first.

How can I get this problem fixed?

this sounds like a cookie problem.

make sure that you have cookies enabled.
also try to select "remember password" wenn loggin in.
if you still have the same problem try a different webbrowser.

The most common hints first...

Check that your web browser accepts cookies from anidb.net as well as from anidb.ath.cx or ath.cx, and when you log in click the "remember" checkbox below the login button.

If that doesn't work, try using a different browser, or even a "real" browser such as Mozilla.
