AniDB Server Unreachable - Status Updates - Temp. Server

does the form run on an different server than anidb.net
or is it jst me that cannot access anidb.net?

I was actually JUST about to make a topic on this. The forums are up. The "wiki" page is up. But the Anidb.net seems to be down. Even the Client cannot access it.

AniDB runs on several servers yeah, currently the one for the main website is down.

We're having troubles with one of our main servers.
It is currently unreachable and the cause is not yet known.
We will need to wait for someone with direct access to the hardware to arrive at the data centre.
Depending on the situation a simple hard reset may suffice, but some parts of the hardware might also need replacing.
As this unfortunately happened on a Sunday, the downtime may well last till Monday.

Hi,
I have a question:
Is it possible to use AOM with the temporary server?
Aom uses "api.anidb.info" in the settings to connect, which seems to be a different server?

I just wanted to say for the people running the anidb webpage i'm so glad your site is back on. I don't know what i do to search for anime if you guys weren't around. I'm glad the site is back up. Keep up the great work guys!!!
