I know that this is the stupidest question ever but can you watch any of the shared files or is this just a review website? I know that you can't download anything but can you view it temporarily?

maybe we should explicitly state somewhere that it is also not possible to stream or watch anything via anidb?
seems as if some ppl need that clarification.

Assuming you haven't implemented this, agreed. I had some random noob on #anidb ask me how to download stuff the other night. Perhaps put an introductory paragraph at the top of the AniDB front page for users that aren't logged in, outlining what AniDB is and isn't?
