Hi, I've been member for 4 days . I've some problem , I try to read many suggestion and "Help / how to" but my english is not good so I still have this questions

1. How can I keep my "member status of Anidb" go on. What i suppose to do ?

2. "ADD file to mylist" is necessary for keep my member status, isn't it?

3. My own file on Harddisk is not same size with file on Anidb database , it gonna be problem if I add ed2k(of my own file) link with its differently file on Anidb?

3.1 How can I add ed2k link of my file to Anidb anime database if there's no file match on website?

1. Just remember your password. The service is free and won't expire.
2. No, but it enables the more useful features of the site.
3. See http://wiki.anidb.info/w/Content:Files (English only I'm afraid).

Asking in any other European language would probably be fine too, if that would help at all.

That's simple. Don't piss off anyone ... too much.

Corrolary: Don't ever call DerIdiot "Der".

No, but it helps to let you know which files you already have.

See above. Don't piss anyone off, especially not by adding junk to the DB. If you're sure your file isn't corrupted or changed, add it to the AniDB. Otherwise, it's better to add the file already present in the DB to your mylist and mark it as "corrupted" (or "self edited", as the case might be).

Again: don't piss anyone off and just read the documentation first. It's all explained there.

as for #1 and #2, once you register with anidb you are a member of anidb, nothing more is need to stay a member.

as for #3 and #3.1, well, have you tried using webaom or aom for file adding?
it simplifies matters, you just select some folders and let it check your local files against the information on anidb, if they exist on anidb they will be added to your mylist.

In case your file doesn't exist on anidb and you suspect it's a corrupted file you add a generic file of the same episode of as your corrupted file or you could add the correct version in the web interface and in the "add file to your mylist" page in the *type* combo box you choose "corrupted version/invalid crc".

did that help?

Thankyou
