Hi
Recently I noticed a new link and I wonder what it's good for.
Group Info: Group Last Ep State Last Update Rating Cmts Action
*16* Anime-Kraze 166 stalled 17.10.2004 8.45 (51) [1] [rate it] - [mod cmt]
I checked news and Change Log here in forum but couldn't find a note that gives me a clue beside the description of the link itself:
"This page allows you to add a mod comment to the selected database entry.
Your comment will only be visible to AniDB moderators."
Since it is behind each fansubgroup what is it supposed to be good for?
Complaints about a fansub(group) to a moderator?
[mod cmt], what is it good for?

i told exp his naming is too alien... it should be "report entry to mod" or stuff if someone can come up with a better name let me know.
bascially if you have anything to report about this entry which can't be creqed use that feature. like "anime x was dropped by this group" and stuff
currently this notify feature is available for animegroups (groupcomments), groups, episodes, anime and files

But isn't it a bit too much responsibility and work?
When anyone can report just anything... can't it be abused for joke comments? And doesn't a mod have to look up and vertify every information if it's true?
in what way?But isn't it a bit too much responsibility and work?
and? that's 1 click and they are goneWhen anyone can report just anything... can't it be abused for joke comments?
and the difference to what is done in the forum is what? And doesn't a mod have to look up and vertify every information if it's true?
see the info needs correction either way. if it's reported in the forum or via the notify feature either way you need to check the source.
combining it all in 1 system is better than running 2 seperate systems.
