The anime page has links to official webpage and matching entries on ANN, Animenfo, Allcinema...
It could also have links to online stores.

The interesting part is, you can get shares of sales done trought such links...

you are insane...
every other sane human being would consider that annoying, crap or anidb selling out.

anyway no that won't happen. never as a "feature" anyway and we don't want the money of the users.

exactly, it's in one category with banner ads. we don't want it :P

and fortunatly, due to a few, very gracious individuals we can cover all the (considerable!) hardware/bw requirements of anidb without need for any monetary contributions by our users. (and ads are in a way exactly that)
