You may well have thought of this - all our servers go thru an AC switch with ethernet control - APC Masterswitch - saves bacon many times when only a powercycle will cure ailments!

takes up 1U & a switch port - costs couple hundred bucks - I'd be willing to make a small donation ..
Oh yes - has 8 AC lines individually controllable - secure browser only needed.
