How can i add official russian title for anime Ou Dorobou Jing (for example)?? When i'm trying to add it, i have ERROR: 7 - there is already a title of that type added. Yes, title of this type (Official Title (other)) added: ג`ינג מלך השודדים . So, do i have to add official russian title as synonym or short title?....

official title (other) is restricted to 1 atm. thats a limitation of this feature.
it's on the list for the update of the title system. but rather low priority atm.

I guess this depends on how you're intending to use this feature.
When I wrote it I was basically thinking about titles which original title was neither japanese nor english. So I guess we'll have almost none of those in the db.

All other stuff, like translations of the japanese title in all kinds of languages, was supposed to be a synonym.
However, I do agree that it might be a good idea to get this a bit more structured by having an option to explicitly state the language which the title belongs to (in order to someday allow ppl to freely select the title language they see in anidb).

Also having set languages for different titles would make it possible to set up some sort of title moderation by language. So that titles of different languages would hav mods who know that language approve them. That would minimize abuses we have currently have.

we would need soemone for russian, hebrew and arabic for this, but i like the basic idea.

basic idea to give some trustworthy users more power to reduce workload of the mods sounds very good to my ears. ^^
