The internet explorer is not supported by AniDB, please try using:

firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
or
opera: http://www.opera.com/

I do not know which webpage you're talking about.
Or are you talking about Internet Explorer 1 ? Maybe Internet Explorer 2 ?
IE6 is working fine.

"Working fine" and "being supported" are two different things.
What he is telling is that he shouldn't expect help with that browser and AniDB.

Actually there are even broken versions of IE6 out there which do not work correctly with anidb's gzip compression. They will just ask you if you want to save the file on disk or just show you an error message.

And in the course of further development of anidb, it's nice if stuff works in IE too, but we don't place any importance on that. That means with time going by you can expect more and more stuff not working properly with IE.

IE shouldn't be used as a browser anyway :P
And actually the majority of the AniDB users is using firefox by now.
