AniDB

I received some messages about creqs like:
Episodes 147 & 148 -> Joint episodes 147-148

Should I creq the whole AniDB to make descriptions all the same way?

I dislike the new way, because it is not international description:
Before: everybody could understand the word "episode"
After: in many languages, the word "joint" is unknown.

exp already stated AniDB is and will be English centered so I don't understand your complain.

Then why don't we remove releases in French/Spinach/Italian/Brazilian/...?

exactly!

comments HAVE to bein english! we didn't enforce this till now, now we do.
we are going to standarize the comments and remove/retranslate the ones possible to english.
you wouldn't belive the utter bs some people add as comments...

standarized comments also allow easy import into possible future features. think new language system for example.

And if you don't. Interface and text should be in english. Files can have different languages.

some comments were really funny. we had stuff like:

- /,,/
- VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 won`t open this file: it says "Birtual block not handled".
- VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 reports 3 instances of overlapping subtitles.
- only a few ppl share it ... i have to wait a long time
- doesn`t exist
- ep 01 will coming sooner or later
