non-matching ED2K link. new file or edit old?
I going through my known files list in AOM and noticed that Zeta Gundam episode 17 by [2xX] didn't match but the rest of the series did. I then went to the file info page Kidou Senshi Zeta Gundam - 17 - Hong Kong City [2xX] (81264) and compared hash sums. CRC matched what was there as did file size, but the ED2K link didn't match. I then redownloaded the file and checked again. Same CRC, MD5, SHA1, and ED2K sums as the copy I already had. I was just about to make a file change request when I realized that at least ONE person had that original file or it wouldn't have had an ED2K link. Having used BT to get the file I know that there are at LEAST 39 other people with the same file I have (that's how many people were seeding @ last check). Should I just request a file edit assuming that a few of the 23 people shown as having the already listed file have the same one I do, or add a new file with the matching information for the file I have and wait to see if the 'AOM Verified' confirms my file?
You should try to check which version is the officially released one and then mark the other one as "not matching official crc". In any case if a different version got spread it should be added as a new entry. So you should add your file as a new one, if you are sure, that there are more people than only you who have got that file.
