One mod told me that the max size for a picture was 300x400.
This could be ok for a screen capture or a cover for an anime, but it isn't a good limitation for group pictures, because group pictures are banners.
A banner is often 500x150. It is impossible to reduce those pictures.

Could you allow a banner size for pictures related to groups ? A limitation like 500x200 would be nice and would take less disk space than 300x400.

well,

a landscape image wouldn't fit too well into the page layout.
I think it would be better to rotate such banners by 90 degrees counter-clockwise and use them that way.
the size limitations would fit pretty nicely then.

You could just change the layout to allow this.

Put your monitor on it's side...

I reduced the size of the pictures from 500px to 400px. I hope it is ok now.
