Whether something is complete or not is auto judged by the system, we can;t manually mark it. For Urda, a4e released on file with all the eps, so don't have a file for each episode, so aren't complete. For De:vadasy a4e released on file with all the eps, so don't have a file for each episode, so aren't complete. For Key the Metal Idol a4e released eps 14 and 15 in two parts, so the same applies, however some file moving might be appropriate here maybe. For Landlock a4e released the spliced Manga 'movie' release in two halfs (and dub only it seems... ugh). As this doesn't consitute the original two ep ova, I kept the files as specials, so that too won't be listed complete.
This will all be fixed in five or six years time when shadow files are implemented. If you have a short term solution, feel free to suggest it in the Feature Request forum or on the tracker.

What about the ability to link generics to [possibly multiple] fansub groups with a comment or type. This could even handle cases where a parent/sub-group started/finished an anime and none of the groups shows as complete.
I guess this is different from shadow files where I envisioned a DB structure where multiple eps could be linked to a single file. This would require restructuring the database.
What I am thinking about now is something more like a symbolic link/shortcut that where you could assign a group, another file record and comment. All of the other information would come from the related file. All that would be required in the database for these files would be to add a related fid column to the file table.
This really fits the name Shadow Files, but this isn't what I thought that was, so I thought I would mention it here...

Shadow files deja-vu!
