i was wondering about something @ AniDB

Sometimes it happens that there are 2 episodes in 1
Example:
Yakikate Japan 11 and 12 (48 minutes long)
If you add that file 48 minutes will be added to your mylist, but if you add that generic file of episode 12 (since 11 = 12+12 in 1)... won't it add another 24 minutes to your list? O_o

On episiode lengths, both 11 and 12 should be 24mins (or whatever one ep is). On file lengths, the double file should be 48mins (or whatever that exact file is), and the filler ep generic should (not sure if it does) count as 0mins.

but if the file itself has own timings, won't it add those times or will it?

The only place that I know of that adds up the times is in AOM, so you would have to ask PetriW.
