First of all, what is “official CRC” ?

Second, about this file:
http://anidb.ath.cx/perl-bin/animedb.pl ... 17&nonav=1

How can it matches official CRC when:
1) The file is incomplete ?
2) The file has no known subber ?

Don't ask a question in one thread and ask almost the same question five minutes later in a new one.

Also you could use http://www.google.com or http://www.wikipedia.org to find answers.

Good question. I'll ask the one who added it.

As for "what's valid", discussions - yet not totally final conclusions - can be found in:
CRC - what's official?
Valid CRC's ... where to get them?

Skywalka, I know what is CRC. I was asking about what is “official”. And I only asked once.

Thank you for the links. :)

Now if there was a general consesus as for what's valid: why not. ^^;

Maybe something along the lines of
Any of the following sources makes a file qualify for "CRC valid":
  • CRC from the group's IRC-topic or homepage
  • CRC from the filename or an sfv file, if it's directly from the group
  • CRC from pages like envirosphere.com, as long as they're not older than 2002
  • Calculated CRC if the file matches another official hash (e.g. md5) provided by the group. This also applies for files that match the official hashset of a torrent
... but the parts in red need discussion.

?

You think because you have "France" in your location I shouldn't have confused your nick with somebody else having a nick starting with A?

Or did you mean I should have smelled the cheese? *evilgrin*

Sorry dude, if I mistook you for someone else, it is because your nick looked similar and because I do not know that other person with the other nick starting with an A not that well.

It's ok :)
But nobody starting with an A has post(ed?) recently. ;)
