Disabling Forum Posts of Guest Users

Especially now that there are "forbidden topics" and that guest users bring these up frequently (and will continue to do so because they do not read stickies & anouncements), it might be time to consider removing the right to post from guests.

Also, there are many users with logins that would appreciate this because they have accidentally posted without logging in...

Positively thinking, the locked threads promote reading the rules ;)

although only for those ppl who actualy read some existing posts before posting new ones :P

well I don't know yet, on the one hand guest posting is certainly annoying, on the other hand some ppl with interesting feature requests/bug reports might not post at all if they have to register first.

I don't really care one way or another... Just by seeing all the locked posts, I thought that it may want to be considered.

I do know it is an easy way for people to get started, I know my first few posts were as a guest. I have seen other users start that way as well, some of them end up joining and contributing, some just disappear...
