yo,

most of you have probably already noticed.
AniDB is currently unavailable (webinterface, irc bots, api, ...).
The server will probably need to be rebooted, however, currently no one is around to do that.

the downtime could range from a couple of hours to a couple of days.

PS: if you see gmni make sure you point out that anidb and the arforum are down

and again the server needs a reboot and no one is around to do it x_X

Any idea why it suddenly "needs a reboot"? I've never seen software do that to any well configured Linux or BSD box. :/

Well... the problem should be analyzed but I doubt server admins have the time to...

Clearly I need to release a better AniDB client soon so the website going down isn't an issue.
