for my mobile suit gundam movie trilogy i have all 3 movies as 2Cd version. Now on anidb it says i have 6/3 files and in aom it says i have 6/9 files. For me both seem wrong. Shouldn't it be 3/3 ? i mean is it not possible for files of an ep to be linked together?
like
some episode or movie
files:
1) movie from group xyz ....
2) movie part 1 from group abc
3) movie part 2 from group abc
where files 2 and 3 are linked so that they only get counted, if you have both parts, or the onefile version?
i think that'd fix the counting problem. I know that i know nothing about anidb so my idea could be pretty stupid.
Anyways, I'd be interested in looking into the code or db structure just for fun if that's possible (i don't know pl, but it would still be interesting i think).
wrong filecount, or is it correct?

No, that's not yet possible. Details can be found in the Feauture Request section, as this feauture - or rather, the lack thereof - has been discussed in length at least two times before.Tomynocker wrote:i mean is it not possible for files of an ep to be linked together?

Both are correct in a way - or rather as correct as it can be currently.Tomynocker wrote:for my mobile suit gundam movie trilogy i have all 3 movies as 2Cd version. Now on anidb it says i have 6/3 files and in aom it says i have 6/9 files.
On AniDB, it shows up as "have 6 files of 3 parts*" (* as entered in the anime-info)
In AOM, it's "have 6 files of 9 files total".
It'd be better if it was "6/3" for AOM aswell, though.
