Can't delete this ssa file.

I have ssa file for NGE Death & Rebirth for subtitle.
And now I'm trying hardest to delete this damn thing but would not disappear. It's file id is 28288 and for 16755 and 16756.
I deleted all file except one called Div fix NGE 2003 renewal #EOE blah blah. Right clicking only brings up open and send to option. when I tried to delete the whole folder it bring up error message "cannot find specified file" Help

This isn't exactly AniDB support, but well... ^^;

I'd suggest to reboot once and then try it again, preferrably by deleting the whole folder, given there are no files you want to keep in it.

If that doesn't help:
Which program do you use to delete the files/folder? If it's the normal windows explorer: Which version of windows do you use?
Which error-message do you get when trying to delete the single file(s)?

xp's explorer it says can not find specified file make sure to specify correct path and file name.

If rebooting didn't work, I suggest doing a scandisk. Right-click on the drive, choose Properties. Click on the Tools tab, click on Check Now. I prefer to have Automatically fix file system errors checked, in this case I would also check Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. It may say you need to reboot to run it, if so do that. Then you just wait, with the checking of bad sectors on, it takes forever, but hopefully it will resolve your issue.

you might be able to delete that file using the command-prompt (in XP: execute 'cmd.exe') while the file is not shown in any explorer-window.

Alternative: boot into linux and get rid of the bastard
