I wasn't planning on rasing the issue here, but since someone else did there's my opinion as well. I think you would be reading VERY different subs if you were actually reading british english spelling, slang, and common phrases. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, there is a big difference.[12:09] <@SilverWordz> since something just reminded me, just wanted to mention that I think using the british flag to indicate english is ridiculous
[12:10] <@Ultima> hehe
[12:10] <@SilverWordz> there is a difference between british english and american english
[12:10] <@nwa> I was already used to the US flag, I want it back
[12:11] <@SilverWordz> and probably all fansubs I watch, and most certainly all dvd rips are subbed using american english which includes spelling, slang, and common phrases, and not british english
[12:11] <@nwa> yeah
But as I also said...
[12:51] <@Silver|Asleep> but anyway, I don't care what they stick with, they can change it to a flag of someone giving me the finger for all I care, I just wanted to state why I don't feel the british flag is more accurate than an american, but is actually less accurate
