Why is the language icon suddenly "british"

As I stated in the anidb ops channel (a little while back), I think using the british flag is ridiculous.

I wasn't planning on rasing the issue here, but since someone else did there's my opinion as well. I think you would be reading VERY different subs if you were actually reading british english spelling, slang, and common phrases. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, there is a big difference.

Skywalka... what the hell is 'cogney'? Google says 'Did you mean: cockney' so I'll assume that's what you meant. And bash you for seeming to assume that much of the population uses that dialect. I know hollywood etc. have a horribly warped perspective on the UK, but taking this as anything other than fiction is silly.

Anyway... please change horribly coloured flag. Guvna.

Everybody around the world seems to think that London is the UK or better most of the people visiting the UK go to London, and cockney (sorry for the wrong spelling, I never saw it written down) is what they hear then, and I hate it.

Nonetheless I still think that most of the stuff we see is US english if it is a DVD-Rip and there is a large chance that somebody from Japan subbing stuff might be educated by a british person.

So I am all for the mixed US/UK logo. And I won't add anything to that statement. My opinion is final
