AniDB Webserver down ?

Post by Elberet »

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

The proxy server could not handle the request GET /perl-bin/animedb.pl.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Same here - the website-part of anidb is down since roughly half a day.

(Chii and the anidb-client are still working, btw ^^;)

i know :P
i've looked at the stats, the server was down exactly during the time /me spend at work :|
but i didn't change anything so my guess would be that gmni played with the server.

well,

just came back and the mod_perl apache seemed to have problems.
restarted it and everything worked again.
i don't have a good idea what caused this though. :|

And again, except that this time the reason is "Error reading from remote server".
It went down between 4:30 and 5:30 am GMT+1.

well,

i still haven't found the cause of the problem but i wrote a little script which should restart the apache server whenever it's not responding.
if it works these downtimes would be limited to 10mins max.
