notice not showing anything, yet it says have new notices

last few days, i found my notice is showing nothing.... this is bug? can it be help?

This is a problem caused my some proxy servers, ad blocking or privacy tools. If you have such a tool installed or are browsing the internet through a router that has such feautures built in, try disabling them.

no, it's not that the pop up window doesn't come out, it's that it came out, and all it's showing is nothing, but the close button to press. and when i checked the login places, it goes "! 1 notify(s) ! " yet, in the notice file window ( the popup ) there is nothing!!! ahhhh i need help!!

Well... -_-

Certain ad- and popup-blockers or proxy servers will actually load the page that is supposed to be blocked in order to find out whether the page is wanted or not - but by accessing the page on the AniDB server, your notifications are reset.

Hence, when the popup is actually shown on your computer, it's the _second_ time that the popup-page is loaded, but because it has been reset the first time, it's empty.

another possible reason would be caching.
maybe your browser/proxy does show an outdated and empty version of the popup.

is the notification cleared after you see the empty popup? (meaning you get the empty popup exactly once or do you get it on each page load)
