I can't see how this would be too limiting. position:absolute is relative as well: relative to the upper left corner of the containing block-level element with either position:relative or absolute. Generally, from what I've read, the best approach to layout out elements in columns is to avoid float'...

Hm, my instincts suggest a different layout: <body> #head #headline #pagetitle #searchform #menu #navigation #loginbox #body #contents .[specified by current script] #footer "#" means that the section is an id'd block element (e.g. a <div>), and "." means that it's a certain clas...

GSpot doesn't understand MKV. It can only attempt to render the file and tell whether DirectShow was able to construct a playback graph or not. @myanidb23: (Creative nickname, btw...) Since you said that your guess is the audio, I'll assume that you have used .mkv files before and therefore h...

AniDB's mylist lets people track the fansubs they've collected. As such, the mylist doesn't contain animes or episodes but only files. If e.g. the file AnY released for KURAU episode 21 is in your mylist, then AniDB will list that anime, that episode and that file in your mylist - not because it you...

For starters, the CSS/based layout can be used as a mere wrapper around the old-style HTML tables. If a content-div is properly nested into the main design, it shouldn't matter what it contains. You can change the main layout to CSS right now and take your time converting the individual sub-scripts'...

Well, looking at the story itself, "Godless Moon" doesn't make sense at all. After all, the notion of the anime is that there are a shrine, within that shrine, a god (both located on the moon), and two priestesses with the power to unseal that shrine (on Earth). Judging by how the story pr...

The first sailor moon part has quite the amusing genre list: Action, Comedy, Demons, Drama, Fantasy, Kids, Romance, Super Power. I guess that should first be fixed before copying it to the other series. ^^

Meh, why do you always argue about the details of implementation? -_- Just because there are a few problems in the first suggestion we've seen doesn't mean that the whole idea is inherently bad. I'm sure anyone will agree that <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE html...

The dafault "skin" most times is good enought and in some cases even take lower ressources. Wrong. Windows XP has two styles of skins. In the skin mode, bitmaps are dynamically resized and copied into the window area to form the user interface elements. In the normal mode, Windows instead...

Well, you need to have JavaScript enabled in Tools > Options > Web Feautures, and probably disabled in the singlewindow plugin. However, I'd recommend you to simply get rid of that plugin. The TabBrowserExtension adds the feautures Firefox needs to really make those tabs rock, but doesn't interfere ...

Did you by chance disable JavaScript? If so, that would result in the symptoms you've described.
