I personally liked the idea of using themes and elements instead of the current system; too bad that nobody has enough inspiration to continue what TechNiko started... (re: http://www.anidb.net/wiki/index.php?title=Talk:Categories:Index ) I want that implemented right now, why haven't i seen that b...

Differencies in lengths aren't that big. Few minutes more or less for some OP or ED, maybe little cut to fit in TV timeframe (who the hell will count commercials into episode length?), but still knowledge if episode has about 10, 25 or 45 minutes has some meaning. I disagree with common length of ep...

[DEL][FILE] fid=200600
Someone added this file with correct hash, but incorrect size (propably mistaken from size of first episode). Now there are two entries for this episode (with same ed2k hashes (i thought that it is not possible in anidb), but different filesize). Correct one is this one (i downloaded and watched thi...

Maybe instead of adding additional fields define some metatags for using in episode names to enclose such fancy names like: - default <f>Episode 1</f> - 1st episode of Angelium <f>Volume 1</f> - 1st episode of AIKa: <f>Trial 1: </f>Beautiful Agent - 5th episode of Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (this anime...

And i would remove Art from Cooking. What form of art is that? If cooking is art, that art can be also: shooting, kissing, skirts lifting, politics, space traveling ... I prefer idea of subjects (not connected with genres like now, its much cleaner and avoid problems under which genre place somethin...

some of the winny files have CRC in their filenames Oh, fantastic verification system! Just do a search on eMule with the following CRC and tell me how many results: E2203007 Six, but i would go only for that one with most sources (if i ever wanted to have french sub, next live maybe). Anyway, mayb...

1) Define certain types of links as weak (for instance other and character). This is the simplest to implement, but it can lead to undesirable results if one of those types of links is used in a situation where it really should not be considered weak. 2) Elias’ proposal: Define some logic (based on...

For every relation in the database, there is probably some reason for it to be there. But sometimes the reason is very questionable (like Kaze no Yojimbo - Samurai 7 connection). Currently with any type of relation, no matter how weak or inconsequntial, all of the animes that are related, no matter...

Right now there are already searched groups of related animes with connections inside such group. It will not be a big problem to split those groups with some tricky way to made more than one subgraph is needed. Lets try maybe like this (sorry for using some strange pseudocode): Assuming we have alr...

Generally i agree, but with exception of such anime families. If you share one graph for each member of family, than: connections to outside of family will be lost OR we will end with graphs nearly same large and messed as some of them are now. Creating different version of graphs when required (eve...

Looks like someone doesn't know about generic files and made some fake file entry instead to mark episode watched. There is file from same group (id:181206) containing both 52 and 53 episode.

Installing VSFilter should help.
And switching to another player would be good step also. Try Media Player Classic or ZoomPlayer or VLC media player

In Files:Multi-episode_files there is example:
file 1 contains episode 1 and parts of episode 2. file 2 contains the second part of episode 2
O1: Episodes 1-2a
O2: Episode 2b
but according to Files:Split-episode_files O2 should be named:
O2: Episode 2 (Part 2 of 2)
file 1 contains episode 1 and parts of episode 2. file 2 contains the second part of episode 2
O1: Episodes 1-2a
O2: Episode 2b
