I'd rather implement a counter displaying

ca. x hours untill the next update.

That might reduce people screaming about votes not getting into anime-hint at once.

Looks like a PEBKAC to me. Reading mixed with some politeness and a shot of netiquette will help for sure in this case.

You don't need eyes to see, you need vision.

There are extensive sources of information linked from the forum and the anidb-webpage itself.

PS: One might try T3h W!kki for starters.

random rant:
I don't get why people are still using C for gui- or non-kernel-stuff. Imho the risks (like having overflows and memleaks) far outweight any possible performance gain compared to c++, python or any other modern high-level language.

Think about searching for "ultima" and not "ultimate", then you can enter "ultima " as a query.

This was requested quite a few times, but as this is a feature used by quite a few people (including exp) your chances of getting your proposal done are about zero.

As IE isn't officially supported the answer could be:

Who the f*** cares about that broken PoC?

Do not enter their BT tracker URL here! I read this as: "Do not link to their tracker, but link to their page, what they do there it's their problem." So if there only exists a tracker and nothing else -> no link If there's a board and a tracker -> link to the board If there's a whole webp...

Well, a per-sub basis is quite pointless, as all files with multiple subs are softsubs imho. But in general a distinction between both subtitle types would be something nice. You could even go one step further and distinguish between hardsubbed, softsubbed (text) and softsubbed (bitmap).

You should try to check which version is the officially released one and then mark the other one as "not matching official crc". In any case if a different version got spread it should be added as a new entry. So you should add your file as a new one, if you are sure, that there are more p...

I'm missing Characters::People::Princesses
and perhapps Genre::Ecchi::Fanservice would be a good addition (for those very cheesy anime, you know what could be put here ;) ).

I'd rename Original Work::-tree into Based on:: and then "none" into "nothing". This looks more intuitive for my perception.

The prefered method is to look for an official source which lists the titles in english and then c&p them into the db.

To help you a bit with the corupt-file-part, I'll quote the relevant part of the wiki for you: Adding "personal" corrupted files If your specific (corrupted) version of the file isn't listed on AniDB, for example because of some hard- or software-problem on your side or because you manuall...
