As I've mentioned, I'd prefer a more detailed summary of the updates, with which this behaviour would conflict.

I'd like to second filtering by release year (as a range, with one, two or no bounds)... in fact, by both end and start date, preferably, and add a suggestion to filter by episode count. (To select short or long series, primarily.)

Re: How to add "X eps in 1" files?

I've added files for series Di Gi Charat. The 16 episodes were released in 4 .avi files (1st file is eps 01 to 04, 2nd file is eps 05 to 08 etc). Unless I am mistaken, this feature is termed here as `shadow files'. It's not implemented, so you'll just have to live with your solution or use generic ...

Generic files in `Up2Date' [fixed i guess]

In the facility named Up2Date for showing recent files for anime in one's list, generic files aren't being excluded.

How about something like this http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/xnview/images/index/flagengl.gif ?? That would satisfy both parties. However, there are many other countries for which English is the national language than the U.K. and U.S.A.; really, why not just an English flag, which clearly...

There is option show/hide viewed/unviewed - it's nearly the same. Normally after viewing you vote for anime, so difference will be only for titles you have already viewed, but without voting (remember to vote!) or voted before you completed watching title (voting before watching - not good idea). T...

I think that you missed the point, which was to do state changes for ranges of files in one command and optionally provide groups tags, but not forcing the user to provide fids or ed2k links.

Re: Only english ep. titles in mylist

Kanji and Romaji episode title fields are a relatively new feature, and not enough episodes have them yet, which is probably why you still see a dominance of English titles, which the system will fall back on if your preference is not represented for a particular episode.

however, i feel that even more ppl would be confused with an "english" flag (I am not even sure if the white flag with red cross can still be called that). Come on, would St. George's flag really confuse anyone? For the language, it is absolutely the correct choice; the Union Jack incorpo...

In that case, I'll third it, and add the request for a default state for !addfile, switchable by another of Chii's commands, for something like this:

Code: Select all

!addstate hdd
!addfile ...
!addfile ...

the way notifications are currently implemented this is not possible. it would require some major changes which would also increase the server load. Obviously if it really can't be done without further overloading the server it shouldn't be done, and there are other things that are of greater impor...

Re: No notification (group) for files that have deleted stat

Marking which groups have released and which episodes... and versions the files in the notification are of would probably be the least complicated solution to this problem. erm, could you rephrase that? Sorry, I may have been a bit scatterbrained when I wrote that: in the notifications popup, I'd l...

Re: No notification (group) for files that have deleted stat

I think that files which are marked deleted shouldn't be considered for group notifications. I usually mark a file as deleted when I've seen it, deleted it and I'm no longer interested in it or other files from that group.... Of course, other people might have different criteria for marking a file ...

I know that this is a small loss of information - but in the end, you'd only have an additional generic file in your list. And that one could even be filtered out with some simple rules. If we could change the placeholders to, um, `specific generic files', I guess, which have groups but no sizes or...
