The files you have are probably soft subs. You may need to choose the desired subtitles from one of the menus of your media player or codec controls. Unfortunately exact instructions depend on the particular files you have, media player and codec/codec pack you have installed. Look through the menus...

I just dislike to use proxy, because AniDB is not a website only for me, but a website for a community: it's better when it works for everybody, including IE users. Well from what I have seen, it is not ready for general usage yet, so until it gets cleaned up a bit it will not be done on the server...

exp wrote:So maybe there is a bug in the js which prevents groups to show up if only a single group has subbed a series?
No, I originally saw the problem with other anime with a lot of groups. This was just a fairly clean example, so I thought it might be easier to debug.

Test Version anime3 Bugs

Sometimes groups are not displayed in the Group Status table. For instance for this Afro-Ken does not display the group A-Classic on the anime3 page, even though it is in my list (and it is the ONLY group to sub this anime).

Probably not the most efficient or bugfree way of doing it, but it appears to work... // ==UserScript== // @name UseAnime3 // @description Use test (anime3) page for anime // @include http://anidb.info/* // ==/UserScript== ( function() { var links = document.evaluate('//a[@href]', document, null, XP...

Your statement is valid, but it isn't wise to say it to a mod. Especially one that likes locking threads on a whim.

at some point 'anime3' will replace 'anime', if some of you didn't get that. so it will be easily available to everyone I knew it would be the default later, but my point was for testing and for users that want the features of anime3 it would be fairly easy to write a greasemonkey script that would...

Well you could write a greasemonkey script to do it...

Here is a related tracker item: "Eps Done" under group info on anime page Here was my proposal for dealing with the merges/splits of groups: Group Status for an Anime [tracked] These would go a long way toward helping. Consider this: group A starts anime, group B joins group A, group A dro...

For a long time, there were only a few sources of information that were available for a vast majority of anime. AnimeNFO and ANN were added because there were already pre-existing databases that were anime specific and therefore covered a lot of the database. They are generally considered a poor sou...

About the description, I just follow the instructions from the wiki: Sorry, I have not read the wiki recently. I guess I can see the reasoning. I think there is probably a better way to handle that situation, but do not care enough to push it. About the episode titles, I have the following problem:...

Also the description does not need: (description by Amour)
When it is copied from another site it should be referenced, but you don't need to toot your own horn.

You know you can copy and paste the text rather than taking a screen shot, it would be easier to sort through the details that way. Anyway it looks like it is trying to do some serious renaming (I assume files were moved around to different episodes). It looks like you may have gone through things a...
