DirectShow rendering failed... it did for each file I had that AOM could not hash properly.

It's a bug when trying to find the codec if I recall correctly...
Maybe you have different sets of codecs, it should be interesting to find. Try posting GSpot results for those files!

Again, I am against deleting files that have 1 user.

All files without any user should be deleted 1 week after creation.
