I think Math.BigInt (or Math.BigFloat) package will be enough for this purpose. All operations are covered, maybe conversion BigInt -> string (to write to DB or display) may be improved.

I would reduce 'avg. scale' field into list of only 2 values (little less numbers to tweak):
0 - (for old style hint, 'avg. adj.' is not usable - will be reduced to 0)

For me it is not bug, but a feature!, that is possible to search including new/rare animes (with low number of users voting for them). And still is possible to search excluding those titles. There should be maybe option to search animes, which have below XX votes or rating below XX, but its not very...
